Wachovia wants $1.5 million. American Express wants only $53,000. And Walker’s agent, correction former agent, wants $450,000. And then there are the casinos, which claim Antoine Walker wrote them fake checks; those casinos want $1 million. And one last party remains - Las Vegas prosecutors. They want Walker to face three felony counts of drawing and passing checks without sufficient funds with intent to defraud.

(L) OMGSH how did this guy go from being one of the great guys in the league to this! I dont understand how you can have a million dollars in your hand at one point to going broke! don't people know about money markets and cd's and investing etc. It must really suck to not have money and not even know when your next paycheck is coming(if it is coming) I hope Antoine figures it all out, and I hope it works out for him. everyone makes mistakes...
(n): I'm happy you gave a little explanation of who this guy is, cuz I had no idea...I need to brush up on my NBA knowledge (then again maybe not)...but I'm not even surprised by how irresponsible this guy was with his money...there have been countless "stars/athletes" before him to blow their millions frivolously, he's just fallen in line and fueled that stereotype. These guys think they can go from broke to managing their own money...while many can, it's best for most to utilize the financial advisers that come calling after the deals are signed...maybe one day someone will actually look at all these fails and make a wise decision with their earnings...maybe...one day...
