The King of Rwenzururu lives in Pennsylvania...

In a recent turn of events, Charles Wesley Mumbere took leave from his job as a nursing assistant in Harrisburg Pennsylvania to claim his crown of the Uganda kingdom of Rwensururu. Mumbere came to the US in 1984 on a government scholarship while political changes were also taking place in his country. Mumbere returned only after traditional kingdoms were reinstated by the Uganda government this summer. With a valid green card and a wife and children remaining in the US, Mumbere will likely return...only not as a CNA...

(n): They're calling this the modern day "Coming to America"...I can't even disagree...I wish they would have shown what all comes with his "kingship" though...like does he have lions, half-naked women dropping rose petals at his feet, and a fat man with a high-pitched singing voice? I honestly doubt it all but I'm sure his means of living have improved in more ways than just the materialistic.
(L)He's lame! how can he abandon his country for so long and then as soon as the kingdoms are reinstated he goes back! if he was a real king he should of stuck with his people and fought for his throne then. Now when he goes back it just shows a lack of courage and loyality!

(k): I completely disagree with you L. Usually when monarchies are overthrown, the incumbent regime actively tries to kill off any remaining offspring of the royal family who could claim the thrown later on. He couldn't just rally with everyone else, he had a big target on his back. On a positive note though, I'm happy for the King of Zamund... I mean Rwenzururu. He probably brought a lot of hope back to his people :)
