Rihanna is slated to perform on May 28th in Dubai. Although she hasn't really been "gone" for that long, media outlets everywhere are coining this as a "Comeback". She's been on the lay-low since her February 8th altercation with her then-boyfriend Chris Brown, but she's geared up for this upcoming concert and all eyes are on her.
“There will be over 25,000 tickets available,” says Mary Rachelle Cherpak, a
spokeswoman for Dubai Tourism. “They will be going on sale in the next couple of days.”
Though the location is still TBD, she says it will most likely be a designer outdoor venue. Says
Cherpak: “Normally they create a special stage in the desert for these events.” Source
(n): Good for her! I am sad that her relationship went the way it did, but I am very happy to see her bounce back...I'm even more happy she's taking herself away from the US and it's media circus for this! I am sure we'll still get great pictures and footage...I look forward to it.
(L): Its about time that Rih-Rih continued on with her life. She can't play the role of the victim forever. And the best way to get over it is to keep herself busy and travel and meet hot rich Arab guys ;) Cuz they really are making "Arab money"
