Lyrics:
Take a breath, take it deep
Calm yourself, he says to me
If you play, you play for keeps
Take a gun, and count to three
I’m sweating now, moving slow
No time to think, my turn to go
And you can see my heart beatingYou can see it through my chest
And I’m terrified but I’m not leaving
Know that I must must pass this test
So just pull the trigger
Say a prayer to yourselfHe says close your eyes Sometimes it helps
And then I get a scary thought
That he’s here means he’s never lost
As my life flashes before my eyesI’m wondering will I ever see another sunrise?
So many won’t get the chance to say goodbye
But it’s too late too pick up the value of my life
(n): Rhianna the icon...okay. She's been doing quite a bit lately. I started feeling her spread her wings as she ventured out and about around Hollywood and New York...seemingly baiting the paparazzi every time she stepped out onto any scene...and then she started getting a little weird to me a little "Lady Gaga-ish" if you will..and then this song...artistic as it may be...it's a little dark...a little weird...I understand the metaphor...just not so on board with the parallel
(L) As dark as Rhi-Rhi may seem, I think she's great! She has to cross the line like this because if not she's just like the next chick. i hear she is supposed to be doing her first interview soon about the incident I'm pretty sure if she is still "talking" to C.Breezy she will be extremely nice about the situation instead of milking it and making C.Breezy seem like an animal. The only thing irritating me about rhi right now is aher freakin hair!!!! wtf!
(k): I love the song! and Rih Rih! She can do no wrong in my eyes, lol. And as dark as the song may seem, let's put it in perspective... Ne-yo wrote it! Bwahahaha and he is the least dark n*gga on the planet. I can't wait for the album! My only criticism: Can this heifer focus on her d*amn vocal lessons? It almost sounds like her voice got worse on this record. Or at least do some scales in the car on the way to the Gucci store...
